Hello, Long time no s---
Too soon?
Thought so.
We have just finished script revisions (minor things) and the final script is finished. I have a few more (three) to put together completely (it's time consuming more than anything). The main eight characters at the table will receive the full script (mainly because they reappear in the smaller parts and the main story).
We've reached out to everyone (so far) that has been cast with the release form/contract. We ask that you reply just to ensure that the e-mail has gone through. If you are a main character, I also asked when was a good time to meet so I can give you the script. As I said previously, it's about 60 pages and I've already printed it out.
Secondly, we will be attending MPEG this Tuesday evening.

We told a few people we would be there, so we that's where we'll be. It's just a socializing event where you meet people in the area that are actors, musicians, and everyone that's into the entertainment industry (I am butchering the description of this; I'm so sorry!) Anyway, we haven't been there since September.
If you're going, shoot me an e-mail and we'll run into you there. Also, if you are one of the main (or any of the characters), and you will be attending, I can bring your copy of your scenes/script there. Just e-mail me so I can bring them. Also, when I give you the script, I can take the release form (or I'll print them and have them, just let me know which).
Once again, we're still looking for sound. We hope that MPEG might introduce us to someone interested in that aspect. If so, we can begin shooting the scenes for Kelly, Savannah, Ethan, Jarvis and Melvin.
If you have any questions or comments, e-mail !

Almost Completed Casting
We are almost finished casting the entire movie. Currently we are reviewing our auditions for the role of Tommy and the role of Beverly. Everyone else has been cast with who we feel represented the characters best. We really liked many of your auditions and had a very difficult time making these decisions (and, in fact, went back and forth on a couple of the people for a while).
In the coming week, we will be shooting an amateur trailer for the kickstarter. We already have a video of us just speaking about the movie. However, we think that with a solid trailer (even if it's not perfect) will draw more viewers in. So most of it will be just us with tight shots of important scenes that will leave you wanting to see what this is all about. We hope to have this finished within the next week.
Steven brought to my attention that we are still way ahead of schedule. If you recall, I said we'd begin most of the shooting in early spring and summer. We already have our cast, music, some locations, and our DP.
Between work and school (yes, we both have lives outside of the movie--it's hard to believe), this project has come a long way in the past two months.
There is still a to-do list, though.
We still have to
-write up contracts (just because we don't want someone coming back and saying we promised them a meeting with Brad Pitt or something)
-give the main cast their scripts (I have them all printed, so don't waste your ink)
-write out the shots that we want for each scene (so when you're on set, we're only there the shortest amount of time and get the best shots)
-speak with all of you about the wardrobe and make a list of things we don't have...and get!
Most importantly, right now we are looking for a sound person and someone for lighting. We know people that can do these things, but lack the equipment. We know a bunch of people who know other people and we'll definitely have this within a few weeks. Of course, we're not in a crazy rush because we still have the aforementioned items to do, as well.
We just wanted to let you know what we're up to and that we're taking care of the odds and ends. If you're in the film, we'll send you an e-mail with the contracts (when we finish them). If you could just print it out and bring it to the shoot. We'll also e-mail you and ask your availability on when you are able to shoot.
Again, this may not be for a little bit, but within the next few weeks!
As always, please e-mail me with any questions or concerns and we'll happily get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you so much for all of your support and, trust me, we can't wait to start filming!

Success on a location and musician!
We attended The Barrington Coffee House last night and found a musician that will help us with the soundtrack to the film. While there, Steven had the idea to use the comfy, cozy atmosphere as one of the scenes in the film. For this particular scene, we have two out of the four people cast, so once we have these two cast, we will be able to begin filming.
Here is a link to The Barrington Coffee House's page (where they make quite delicious smoothies: try the m&m).
http://www.barringtoncoffeehouse.com/
and also their facebook page
http://www.facebook.com/barringtoncoffeehouse
Over the weekend we will be breaking up the scenes for the musical score, as well as holding more Skype auditions, and hopefully launching our Kickstarter (the editing can be done fairly quickly; it's
only a matter of putting some tunes to it--which may even just be us playing some upbeat guitar).
If you have e-mailed me and I haven't gotten back to you yet, please have heart; there are a lot of e-mails to still go through.
As always, thanks for your interest and e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns.

Successful!
First, we'd like to thank everyone for making it out to New Hope yesterday. All of you did a great job and we will begin the casting process shortly. We also have many Skype auditions to go through, as well.
Secondly, if you are cast for a part, until we find the other actor in your scene(s), we cannot begin shooting. If you are cast for one of the eight main characters at the table, filming will not begin until early spring/summer.
Today we will be making our video for Kickstarter. We will also have our page on Facebook so you can "Like" it. We'll post these later in the day.
For those of you who have e-mailed about Skype, I apologize for not having gotten back to you. We've been sifting through the auditions yesterday and working on the kickstarter video. We will get back to you, though!
And, as always, thank you for your help and interest in the film!

Monday's Auditions Canceled
Because of the lack in number of people able to audition on Monday, we have decided to cancel and stick with Skype auditions.
Therefore, if you cannot make tomorrow's audition, we will be holding Skype auditions (this was a great idea brought up by one of you!). Regardless, let us know.
To everyone tomorrow: we look forward to meeting you!

Still alive...!
Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy new year! Our location was off during the holidays and therefore has not been in contact with us. We are hoping that once it reopens, we will receive an e-mail with confirmation. We've received many e-mails wondering whether we are still making this movie--we are!
Once the dates are confirmed, I'll post them here, as well as e-mail all of you.
Thank you for your continued interest.
We look forward to meeting and working with you.
